  1. also...one day, you will find someone who makes you feel like a million times more special etc...and you will soon forget the bad times you have had. hugs xxxxxxxx
  2. reply to original post. i know how you feel, been going through similar myself. iv not read the other posts to this thread, but i would just like to say, you are not alone you know. life is hard and marriage is hard at times and having kids involved makes it worse, but the best thing you can do is to be true to yourself and your kids (if you have any) do whats best for your life. in my oppinion kids need food, water, shelter, love, encouragement and compassion. that can be applied to yourself aswell. not to be corny but oh well...some rush songs that have helped me...'something for nothing' and 'enemy within' listening to those songs helped me through a lot. hope things are ok, fancy a rant, message me. if not, its ok. xxxx
  3. in reply to original post. im 31 this year (groan!!!) iv been a fan of rush since i can remember. my parents (mom and dad) are fans. so, i grew up listening to 80's rush...and 70's. but for me, this band induced my love of electronic music. from an early age, i was fasinated with their story telling in their songs. 2112 is my favorite song of all time, the consept of this song is fasinating to me. im a lot of a sci-fi geek! this was one of the first songs i heared when i was about 6 or 7 years old and when my father explained the story to me it sparked my imagination and it hasnt left me since! i actualy dont have many friends who know of this music, which i do find strange. i am just glad to have known their music in my life time. as an artist myself (of the visual kind) i am glad to have their influence. and i am glad that i will see them perform tomorrow night at the LG arena in birmingham. btw...i am very dyslexic, so sorry for spelling and stuff!!!

  6. i love this album, so many memories from when i was little (my dad was/still is) into them, so this was probably the first album i listened to when i was very young. red sector a is awsome, still sends chills up my spine even years on...very haunting. at the moment i think my fave off this album is the enemy within, im going through a bit of a crapy time at the mo and the lyrics really pick me up - im not giving in, im not missing out, im not giving up... you get the picture
