Still, if it keeps you off the streets..... Like how would I know, Loser. I may have to like so start working the streets once I lose my EMA... A rich Daddy's girl like you with an EMA? I'm shocked. Like if you must know, daddy is unemployed, and is digging into his life savings to take us to see Rush. Thank you very much. Foolish man. Next thing you'll tell me he's a dirty Leeds fan. I think you'll find daddy is far from being a DIRTY LEEDS fan. He looks at them with the disgust you get at finding some dog muck on your shoes or meeting a member of the NRA.

  3. QUOTE (willowroolz @ Jan 15 2011, 12:17 PM) Right. I have a ticket for the Rush show in Sheffield on 16th May, but I'm abandoning it to go see Riverside in London on their 10th Anniversary Tour instead. I'm seeing Riversied in Holmfirth the day before I see Rush in Sheffield Must wear my wrinkled stockings

  5. They're But I'm too scared to join, there's some real scary peeps like Pumpkinhead, NickSlikk2112 and Reed Lover. You can get like such a visceral thrill from watching a car crash, but it's safer here.
  6. QUOTE (sanzo @ Feb 11 2011, 11:47 PM) I am going to be travelling to 3 different countries in May for this, I didnt think of saying that earlier that,Its fun travelling to different places to meet up with fellows fans and then to the gig Are you not travelling to two countries, as I understand things? 1. The United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland 2. The Republic of Ireland. As you are a subject of the first country, then you can hardly be said to be travelling there, so you are like so travelling to only ond different country to see Rush. I hopes to gain GCSE Geography this year
  7. QUOTE (Hatchetaxe&saw @ Feb 6 2011, 10:09 AM) QUOTE (Cosy Toes @ Feb 5 2011, 11:52 PM) In Sheffield, they will be staying at the Grosvener House Hotel. Alex has room 21 and Geddy has room number 12 (Do you see what they've done there?). Alex checks in under the name of Mr Porkinson, and Geddy checks in under the name of Mr Grosnez. Neil will be staying in his trailer in a lay-by near Matlock Bath in Derbyshire, so he can get a good day motorbiking round the Peak District in, because those roads are like so meant for biking. If Michael Mosbach finds out I have leaked this, then I am dead meat... Holidayed in the Matlock Bath area with the family last year. Great spot. Neil would love the mine and the cable car! There's a great chipper in Matlock, must tell Alex. Aye, Matlock Bath is a R8 nice place, all it lacks is like the sea - and a decent Offie for Geddy
  8. It's Crap. Like what meaning does it have? I hope you like paid big money for it - Loser. My dad says people who have personalised plates should have the registration number tatooed on their foreheads, so we can match them to their cars and then like laugh and point Someone near me has the registration R30BRA, he doesn't realise.

  10. I'm travelling 17 miles to see them in Sheffield
  11. QUOTE (Tom Sawyer @ Feb 4 2011, 08:18 PM) January marked the 40th anniversary of a amazingly ground-breaking sitcom - All in the Family, a show that dealt with taboo subjects such as racism, homophobia, bigotry, religion, atheism and number of other issues. My opinion is that this sitcom stands and remains the MOST influential television show to ever air in the U.S. The second would be M*A*S*H as it also dealt with these subjects but also the aftermath of war and the "anti-establishment" issues so prevalent during the latter 60's and the Vietnam conflict. Two of my favorite shows, I still like watching them, the acting (especially Carroll O'Connor) and writing was superb!! You do realise that All in the Family was based on a British TV show called "Til Death do us Part" and the British show was substantially more Racist, Homophobic, Bigoted etc. etc. than anything that would be shown on US TV? I learned this from the Daily mail newspaper today, that where the UK leads the US follows - badly. So try programmes like: Pipkins Stepping Stones Rainbow Sooty and Sweep Blue Peter The Sweeney.
  12. QUOTE (summer_sky @ Jan 30 2011, 09:45 PM) Also, watched and enjoyed 'All Creatures Great and Small' based upon writer James Herriot's work during that same era. Of course Dr Who was in All Creatures Great and Small "Nah then Mester 'Erriot, a' tha gonna shove tha arm up t'cow's Arse?"

You can't be serious! Classic Prog was to all intents and purposes on its way out by the time Rush recorded 2112 and to refer to Peart as the "Godfather of Prog" is just plain silly. Look to the likes of Bruford, Collins, Palmer, Barriemore-Barlow and Michael Giles who had all drummed with distinction on major seminal Prog albums before Rush even recorded. Rush were a crossover Prog/Heavy Rock band who stood astride both camps without really being typical of either, hence Peart's broad appeal. The major classic Prog drummers were heavily influenced by jazz whereas whilst Peart was a fan of Rich and Krupa, stylistically he was influenced by those Prog drummers as well as Moon and Bonham. Peart then went on to influence the more technical metal drummers, especially in the genre that was to become Prog Metal. U R a Cock. Pert is like so the apotheosis of Prog Drumming. Without Pert and Rush there would be no Prog Rock, and we would all be thinking that Uriah Heep were so far out. How big a cock? U R Donkey Cock Or maybe Nani Goat Cock
  14. QUOTE (Hatchetaxe&saw @ Jan 29 2011, 03:54 PM) QUOTE (Cosy Toes @ Jan 29 2011, 03:41 PM) QUOTE (Hatchetaxe&saw @ Jan 29 2011, 02:51 PM) 218 isn't too bad, high up on Geddy's side of the stage. Keep away from the front rows, you'll bump into some right ne'er-do-wells there, incl grown men masquerading as young girls, probably muttering "Old Rush Good, New Rush Bad". You're in for a great night, and it'll be as important to you as seeing them in the Bingley Hall is to the resident UK High Priests. I see you also like the Quo and Genesis. Marvellous! My daddy told me about Bingley hall He tells me I will like so never experience anything like that. Like whatever pops. New Rush are mint. He also like warned me about grown men masquerading as something they're not on the internet. Quo = Marvellous Genesis = Hideous Your Dad's a wise man..... "New Rush are mint". Ah Nick, if only you believed that. I believe it but like my name is so not Nick. even if my name were Nicola, then it would be like Nic, but my name like ain't Nicola, and I ain't giving out my real name on the net when there are Pervs like you about Mr. &saw.

  17. No. It is not Sold Out. According to peeps at Counterparts. Ticketmaster want you to think it's sold out so you can buy tickets through their licensed scalper division before releasing more tickets.
  18. Got both her albums, top notch stuff, don't think the second is as good, but it sounds better. I missed getting to see her in Sheffield last year which was a pisser. Nice to see a young woman play the Blues though.
  19. Block 218? Pretty Ropey! (Daddy got me front row...) I was talking to an old bloke at a Rush tribute band gig, and to my surprise he said that he gave up going to see Rush 30 years ago, as they weren't as good as they used to be Still, what you've not known you won't miss.
  20. Why not try www.ticketline.co.uk, they have tickets for all UK shows still, and you do say you don't care where the seats are.

  22. Bill Bruford. Now Move along please, like nothing more to see here.
  23. Wouldn't say I hate them, but I find it hard to listen to anything they've done, and like Lord knows I have so tried. And yet Mr Wilson has so worked wonders with the yummy Micke from Opeth
