  1. QUOTE (circumstantial tree @ Dec 10 2010, 12:04 PM) Yeah, I remember Rush tickets were pretty cheap back in the 80s. Probably no more than 25 dollars per ticket. Why do you suppose that tickets are so expensive now? Probably because no one buys music anymore. A band has to make a living. If I was in a group and no one bought my music, the only way to make a living is gigs. If people complain about the price of gigs, woulod they expect me to do it for nothing. The internet has destroyed music. 20 years from now, there won't be any music.
  2. Rush are probably saying the same about people who steal their music. Yes, they are pricey, but so is recording music.
  3. QUOTE (AJ71 @ Nov 23 2010, 03:44 PM) QUOTE (Finding IT @ Nov 23 2010, 03:01 PM) With all due respect, tough. You aren't the one to determine the value of the tickets. The market does. If the tickets sell, the price wasn't inflated. It's basic economics. Don't like it, don't go. I believe there will be others that will take your place. what a wonderfully simplistic and heartwarming approach to life and fellow fans i love the "i'm alright Jack" attitude some folks have I agree! Totally selfish. Last time I saw them at Newcastle they did about 7,000 out of a 12,000 seater. They will not do that this time with these prices.
