  1. QUOTE (Mr. Krinkle @ Nov 23 2010, 10:04 AM) Tickets will remain They certainly will. I think S&A they sold out 1 of 7 UK dates. This time around it will be 0 out of 6
  2. QUOTE (Mara @ Nov 23 2010, 09:31 AM) Just sayin'. I feel for all of you. The sale process appears to be rather poorly organized. I thought it one of the better presales I've done. But I never expect anything organised by Anthem to work smoothly. Didn't even get my email about the presale until the minute it happened. For the Words of the Profits Were Written on Ray Danniel's Walls. Concert Halls Echo to the Sound of reduced crowds
  3. Ray Danniels is so close to Rush he may as well be Rush.
  4. QUOTE (willowroolz @ Nov 23 2010, 08:04 AM) Got block B for both Sheffield 17th row I'll look back at you from Block A Row 1 (I won't know what you look like though...)
  5. I got front row for Sheffield, but that's all I shall do as opposed to six shows last time. I predict half empty halls at these prices. Thanks Ray Danniel$ welocm to the Ca$h Machine Tour. At least I get an excuse to wear the best frock
  6. Presales are shite anyhoo. At these prices there'll be plenty of tickets available.
  7. QUOTE (FoxxiStarr @ Nov 19 2010, 07:02 PM) Glasgow was heaving last time. That was from the stench of all those in from Paisley and Cumbernauld
  8. No Intro/Outro videos. No Samples. Regular setlist changes.
  9. QUOTE (H. P. L. @ Nov 17 2010, 04:18 AM) QUOTE (Jean Simmons @ Nov 17 2010, 01:26 AM) I can't believe more love isn't being shown for Still Life. It just shades Blackwater Park, and is head and shoulders above all the Opeth-lite that followed BP. I managed to attend the RAH show this year, and can quite categorically state it was the best concert I've been to - though it would have been better still with a full run through of Still Life The first half of Still Life is awesome: The Moor/Godhead's Lament is an unbeatable pairing to open an album. Sadly, as far as I'm concerned, after Face of Melinda the album gets incredibly boring. I can't even make up the different parts of the songs. It all blends together in a mush. One minor concern, also, is the fact that the clean vocals are quite muddy, compared to the Wilson-produced albums. Well Opeth were very poor at the time, so there wasn't much money for a good production job. Mikael couldn't even afford to do any demos for the album. In light of that it's a stellar effort, and Serenity Painted Death and White Cluster are just awesome!

  11. QUOTE (jesterhud @ May 24 2009, 03:13 AM)I never have understood why they are not so big in the USA, the US is a country that likes its rock music and that is what Quo are, good old fashioned rock In the US we had Canned Heat, who performed that laid-back listless Boogie role. But yeah, I can dig the Quo.
