I have been a Rush fan since I was 13 years old (I am now 42). Rush's "Grace Under Pressure" tour was my very first concert in St. Louis, Missouri. After about 150 concerts later, Rush was the last concert I attended about 20 days ago at the American Airlines Center in Dallas, Texas. I am one that agrees that Rush should have been inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in the first year that They were eligible back in 1999. I would have to say that I believe that one major factor of Rush finally being inducted this year (besides Their Music, of course, which speaks for itself) is the strong voice and reason of Eddie Trunk from "That Metal Show". I Love that (Metal) Show. He has spoken passionately about Rush's exclusion for many years now. I think that Eddie Trunk and his co-hosts have finally woken up the committee that nominates who gets on the ballot. Great Job!!! Congratulations are in order for Mr. Geddy Lee and Mr. Alex Lifeson and Mr. Neil Peart. I would like to say to them, "Welcome to the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame!!!".
