  1. QUOTE (Snowdog @ Aug 27 2004, 04:23 PM) I don't care how many times I've heard it, I could listen to La Villa over and over and over. It's just one of my all time faves by any band. Amen to that - I love the Exit more than any version
  2. QUOTE (Jack Aubrey @ Aug 26 2004, 09:59 PM) QUOTE (Jack Aubrey @ Aug 25 2004, 10:12 AM) Next Quote: 'I shall not be wounded and not return it in kind! I'm done with feeble hoping! I demand a man's vengeance!' You folks want a hint or another quote from the movie?
  3. QUOTE (D-13 @ Aug 26 2004, 07:37 PM) A Music Area......for people like me who like to play those things....called instruments! Done. See Non-Rush area
  4. QUOTE (The Analog Snowdog @ Aug 26 2004, 07:51 PM) Overall, liked it better than GR. Gives you more "background" on the Professors youth and is overall more autobiographical. While GR focused on his "recovery", TM is more of a reminiscing about his life in general and the music that has shaped it. As private a guy as NEP is, it is nice for him to let us into his "inner sanctum" this way. As I said, if you're a fan, it's worth the read. He also hints at a book coming soley about touring experiences, etc!
  5. QUOTE (pixey @ Aug 26 2004, 12:14 AM) I chose Natural Science, everytime I hear it live I am blown away. Now I look forward to hearing it. Me too - the RIR version is absolutely phenominal - gives me goosbumps
  6. QUOTE (Relaxed_Jack @ Aug 25 2004, 10:30 PM) Ok RR....let's raise this up the flagpole and see who salutes it. Starting out, how about a Midwest gathering of golfers, hackers, slicers and duffers (and their significant others) to an outing with actual sponsers of holes, prizes, food and spirits. The next outing will then be scheduled for another location..i.e New England, Florida, Texas. Just a thought..... if not, pick up the pieces of our lives and move on. Get a life. Just kidding LOL I would definately be in for a round of golf.

  13. QUOTE (1-0-0-1-0-0-1 @ Aug 25 2004, 12:21 PM) I like that second picture. So detailed! I know, I know... LOL - I had the flash in OFF mode from the telescope pics and I was too lazy to redo it when I realized it (home for lunch)
  14. Well my big dilema on this is I have the good video upstairs and audio downstairs. Our family room has the 53" Hi-Def Projection (Panasonic Cinema) with prgressivescan DVD, but the way our familyroom is oriented, no way to do surround well (pic 1). Downstairs in finished basement I have surround sound, nothing major, but sounds kick ass down here and a basic non-hidef 31"(?) TV... The other half of the basement is my kid's play area, but I plan on doing a wide-screen hi-def when they get older down here as well. http://i15.photobucket.com/albums/a390/TRFOLDPOSTS/post-27-1093449661.jpg
  15. QUOTE (BSG @ Aug 25 2004, 10:44 AM) QUOTE (RushRevisited @ Aug 25 2004, 09:32 AM) Man, I suck at this game - need to get out more... Now if you said "The new phone book is here! The new phone book is here!" I may get that one LOL (The Jerk, one of my all time favorite no-brainer movies) I'm picking out a thermos for you. A thermos for you!! not an ordinary thermos for you, but the very best thermos you can buy, with stripes and a cup that fits right in! LOL (SOrry Jack, not hijacking the thread )

  18. It's funny with me - I know what you guys mean on the non-Neil thing, but there is something raw to this album and once in a while I totally crave it
