Chronos
Last night I pulled an all-nighter, driving 550 miles from northern Wisconsin to Toledo, Ohio. I had 8 Rush CDs with me to keep me awake (and a buttload of coffee). Which 8 of Rush's 20 studio CDs did I choose to accompany me? Whoever matches all 8, or comes closest, wins the fantabulous prize of...(drum roll)... the satisfaction of winning! These 8 of 20 are not necessarily my faves...just the ones I felt like bringing. I'll close the game and announce the winner whenever I see fit.
Cyclonus X-1
Well, if they helped you stay awake, then that eliminates the Rupert Hine albums. The debut effort and Fly By Night, on the other hand, contain plenty of high-energy numbers and are perfectly suited for keep-awake duty. A guy who goes by the name of "Chronos" must have had Clockwork Angels in tow. You cite A Farewell to Kings and Hemispheres as your favorites in your profile, so I imagine that they made the trip. You seem like an intelligent person, so surely you appreciate the magnificent Caress of Steel. You picked Territories in that "Favorite Songs" thread, so perhaps you're a Power Windows fan. You were undoubtedly counting down the miles as you neared your destination, so "Countdown" would be an appropriate pick--and with it the rest of Signals. So that makes it... Rush, Fly By Night, Caress of Steel, A Farewell to Kings, Hemispheres, Signals, Power Windows, Clockwork Angels.

Chronos
I sorta forgot about this...heh. Well, the winning answer is: Rush / 2112 / AFTK / Hemi / Perm Waves / Power Windows / S&A / Clockwork Angels That means Cyclonus X-1, dethroned emperor, and Empty Mindless Spectre all tied for first place with 5 of 8 correct! Woo! Take a bow! And SchemingDemon is the only loser. I dug your analysis and effort, Cyclonus!

Empty Mindless Spectre
So we all tied at 5 of 8. I can live with that. Actually, that's kind of amazing.
