Well, to be honest, I dont think I have ever heard a Rush cover that I like... No bands can do Rush songs as good as Rush them self, then its just waste of space.. rugen Posted May 20, 2014 Author Share Posted May 20, 2014 I prefer to hear a new version of a song that i enjoy that listening to the same version a million times. The idea of a cover is not always to copy the song note to note with the same instruments like Musical Box do with Genesis, but to bring something of your own ideas. If i want a song of Rush, play like Rush, i listen to Rush. I don't expect another band to be better than Rush, like it is a competition on who can play with the more accuracy a Rush's song.
