Union 5-3992 Posted October 3, 2013 Share Posted October 3, 2013 Last April, I went to see Steven Wilson perform at the Town Ballroom here in Buffalo. I was able to score a spot right in front of the stage. Throughout the show, I was captivated by his drummer Marco Minnemann and air drummed a bit during some of the songs. I noticed him smile whenever I did. At the end of the show, he tossed his sticks right at me and the guy to my right caught them. Cut to last night. I was in the lower Balcony in the CFA to see Joe Satriani. His drummer, Marco Minnemann. At the end of the show, I was standing and clapping as you would expect, but I was the only one in my row standing. He looked up at me and threw them at me again, and they just fell short of the balcony, missing my shot at bringing home the concert once again!
