Finding IT
my bad, I was just getting a snobby vibe. when someone says that they don't go to sci-fi and fantasy for great literature, I take it as they think that the genres are incapable of being good literature, as if everything in the genre is pulpy, over-the-top and silly, and I guess I've just dealt with too many lit-snob pricks. I understand. Wasn't my intention. Sorry if I came off that way. Who else do you like outside of the Sci-fi/Fantasy genre?
bathory
well I don't really have favorite authors I guess, I read a lot of stuff though, I try to alternate between a sci-fi/fantasy book and a "normal" book, or read both at the same time right now I'm reading the vanishing tower by michael moorcock (fantasy) and david mccullough's john adams bio. after those I'm not sure what I'll read
Astromancer
AFFC was pretty slow in relation to the holy-f***ing-shit thrillride that is A Storm of Swords, but I enjoyed the hell out of it. Jamie's chapters especially, the book actually managed to make me like him. I've yet to read A Dance With Dragons. Waiting on soft-cover or trade paperback. Imaginos
I wish that Mr Martin would pull his finger out and finish the next book. I'm hungry for more.
