The first Rush show I saw was Permanent Waves in the Sam Houston Coliseum (also long gone and connected to the Music Hall). Back in those days you seriously worried about getting mugged if you wandered alone in the upper prom or outside the venue. On the way to the show you could go through these underground walk-ways from the parking lot and there would be these "That 70's Show" looking guys every 10 feet or so hawking "acid?", "acid?", "pot?", "ludes?", "acid?". Very intimidating for a 13 year old kid! And apparently "acid" was very popular at Rush shows back then! Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
