It's Pink Floyd by numbers in many ways, but there's something that keeps pullng me back to this music. So it must be good, no? Any fans out there? Regarding Crafty Ape, I get what you're saying, I really do, but the guitar sounds pure Gilmour to me. Especially the solos. Same notes, same style, same vibe. Not saying that it isn't good, 'cause it is, it's just that, somehow, it distracts me from the songs every time the guitar pops up and I go "hey, this guy studies Dave even when he's sleeping". Nice mix of sounds / styles ( including a Journey cover, and even an ABBA-esque bonus track ) I think Bastogne Blues is the standout track, epic and moving .
