I keep reading how people are upgrading their tickets and would like to know how people are doing this so I can explore the possibility. I'm taking my 17 year old to his first concert and my current seats are across the arena from the stage. If I can get closer, I'd like to look into it. How do you upgrade? How much does it cost? The promoters hold out tickets for VIPs, band or tour members family ect.... and will release them right before show time. For the past month all you could get for the Chicago show were upper level. I stopped by the box office 2 or 3 hours before the doors opened and upgraded to 5th row left! You just pay the difference between the face value of the upgraded ticket and the one you already bought. No broker premium prices! GOOD LUCK!! I have upper deck tickets that are in the back middle im wondering if i could exchange these for side stage uppers that are the same price if available , Do they offer that also at the box office before the show anybody ?
