Your right about this, but it's hard to figure out why?

Why some established older bands (AC/DC, Aerosmith, Ozzy and of course Metallica) get the green light for anything new that comes out for radio play. While Rush gets ignored, is it the general rock radio listening audience has become moronic and enjoy redundant status quo bands cause that what there use to hearing? Or is it that corporate radio dj's are scared to think outside the box and afraid they will get axed if they play something creative and different =
