Cygnus X1 Posted June 6, 2011 Share Posted June 6, 2011 I'd say "hey y'all" but I'm a transplanted upstate NY guy. Good to be here! Long time guitarist, amp builder, first real Rush experience was from being drawn in by "A Farewell to Kings" back when it came out. I'm one to admit I didn't like early Rush and ended up growing with the band, and finally appreciating 2112 for what it is, a masterpiece. I'm Cygnus X1 in very many forums, mostly guitar related. JCF, TFF, MLP, many others. Saw Rush the first time during Roll the Bones tour...absolutely great, and hard to believe of all the concerts I had attended it was the first chance I got! Will be going to Greenville show with my 17 YO son, his first big concert. I am STOKED for it. It still awes me that Rush keeps getting better. Cheers! I missed out on seeing Rush during the RTB tour myself, and sadly lost track of them until last year's show at the State Fair, but I'm having fun making up for lost time!
