Seattle concert

After reading some of the negative blogs about the sets etc these past few months, I was a little worried with the approaching Seattle concert I was to attend. Well, anyone going to the shows have no worries.

 

I tell it like it is and tell it black and white. This was a tremendous show.

 

This was my 5th RUSH concert and I think it is by far their best. Sure there are a couple songs I would like to hear over others, but the production and the performance was simply awesome.

 

I truly believe that they are getting better with age. They are like a fine wine.

 

Geddy hit all the notes, which blew me away. Alex seemed like he was having a ball, and his solo's, were amazing. And Neil is Neil, enough said.

 

One great thing about this show is that it is the first show that I have seen that they really exploit Geddy and his bass playing. He simply is awesome and pounds the hell out of that bass. In my book, he is the most underrated bass player out there.

 

 

Anyways, this was well worth the wait. Enjoy.

I have the same pet peeves

 

1. WTF are you doing bringing your 6 year old to a rock concert?

 

2. Do NOT tell me to sit down so that 6 year old (or you) can see

 

Drives me nuts....I'm seeing them Friday and you can be damn sure I'll be standing up the entire show!

My daughter is 14 months now and I taught her barred chords today, plus she used R30 sticks as picks and a slide, haha.

We are going acoustic to warm up for the real Clockwork Angels yet.
