It should be good then 653.gif As long as we're not just staring at their shoes the whole time. Or having to look up the entire show resulting in a rather sore neck at the end of the evening new_thumbsdownsmileyanim.gif

Grandstand seating chart

http://www.nysfair.org/grandstand

the pdf seating chart helps.

I think Track is the closest

Elevated Track is next up, and the rest are under the awning.

Maybe the chart in the phonebook will help (just got the new ones last week)

I think B is Geddy's side, D is Alex and C is the center (Neil) (that may be backward, I have a massive headache...can't read right...or left).

I haven't gotten my Grandstand tickets yet, My mom wants to go, my dad may also go, but I need to know before I buy tickets. Otherwise I'd be set.

If I remember from a long time ago (I last saw a concert there 12 years ago), the seats are good at least up until the awning. I was in the elevated track seating....I think

My ticket said TRACK so I am assuming that is the flat part of the track, not the elevated. We'll see!

I'll check out phone book; that's a good idea.

I was wondering how good the seats are there myself and I found a this Journey video from the NYS Fair on Youtube

That's front row center and it looks good to me! The best I could score today is TrackD Row 15. Hopefully the crowd will be good considering this type of venue.

Looking forward to this show even more now common001.gif As long as the stage/seat set up is the same idea as that show...

It was yesterday. I don't know how long its going on for or what's left. I was caught off guard as well.
Here's the link and good luck!

Thanks for the link, but the presale is done. Oh well, from what others have said presales don't necessarily mean good tickets, so I think we still have a chance to score decent trink38.gif seats.

At the risk of being a debbie downer I am kind of afraid of this show because of time restrictions. I saw Yes here a few years back and they cut some tunes from the setlist to fit the show in. They had an opening band so hopefully it won't be an issue. Anyone else thought of this? Help me to ease my mind.

I don't know, I saw Alice Cooper and Cheap Trick there in '05 and both did their full sets. Alice played for over two hours, so I don't really see an issue with time. bekloppt.gif
