He hopes to add a Memorial Cup to trophy case in June. To bolster that quest, Tavares was traded Thursday from the Oshawa Generals to the London Knights on the eve of the Ontario Hockey League trade deadline, which falls at noon Friday. The Knights, perennially among the top teams in the OHL as well as the Canadian Hockey League, are in a pitched battle with the Windsor Spitfires for the top spot for the best record in the OHL, as well as the top seed in the Western Conference playoff race.
