Rush on Rockband

So Rockband has sold millions of songs and brought a lot of song awareness to lots of people.

 

Why has Rush not allowed the use of their originals? Why are we stuck with those crappy covers that don't serve to educate the world about the superiority that is Rush?

Because Rush is so awesome that if they used the actual recording, then the game would crash.

Actually however Rockband Rush fans around the world may soon rejoice, as this statement was posted on Rush.com back in February:

Rush have been working with Harmonix, makers of the hugely popular video game Rockband to feature some of their music. The 44 Rockband song catalogue has currently sold over 3.4 million single song downloads in a very short time.

(Limelight and Working Man)     But they were still both covers   pretty bad covers         I think it has something to do with the record company though. not the actual band
