I wonder if it's the same movie or if they changed it. All I can remember about the movie is that it was pretty sweet. Have anyone ever seen the first one? madra sneachta Posted January 11, 2005 Share Posted January 11, 2005 I absolutely love the this film, and fear the remake won't match the atmosphere of the original. The line in Jacob's Ladder "looming low and ominous" could have been written about Carpenter's classic. It's also got one of the best original soundtracks I've ever heard. madra sneachta Posted January 19, 2005 Share Posted January 19, 2005 I haven't seen the original for a while, but having seen the trailer for the remake, I get the impression they've beefed up the plot a lot, with corrupt cops thrown into the mix which I don't recall from the first film.
