Yes the 2nd season will begin in October/2007... FYI Dexter is based on 2 books written by Jeff Lindsay called "Darkly Dreaming Dexter" and "Dearly Devoted Dexter". The 1st season is based on the first book and next season will be based on "Dearly Devoted Dexter".
