Start sounds a bit like Limelight but 13 seconds in changes to a very Rush like riff is that still Limelight? At work at moment so can't check. Any thoughts? It's the guitar sound and use of 7 meter during the main riff that is most reminiscent of RUSH. But that's about it. The verses of the song are early 80s, Toto-esque. treeduck Posted September 23, 2006 Share Posted September 23, 2006 There's quite a few elements, 2112 at the beginning, the police, Totoesque keys during the second part of the 2112 bit, it's a kind of Toto with a reggae feel in the verses with a little Rush thrown in...
