He has won Best Guitarist In The Quad Cites ( a metro area of 400K people ) two years in a row. He is interested in learning some more Rush for his band. They are playing Tom Sawyer. He is a big Alex fan and is currently working on YYZ and owns Moving Pictures and Roll The Bones. I suggested ( since he knows I'm a Rush freak ) that I put together a CD of Alex's best work off the albums. The first thing that comes to mind is La Villa Strangiato and Driven but I'm looking for some suggestions from the guitarists here on TRF. Any help you can give would be appreciated. Thanks! He is looking for stuff to learn that he won't necessarily play at live gigs so I'm looking for Alex's best work. Something a guitar player could really get into. Thanks!
