1-0-0-1-0-0-1
Some of you may have already noticed, no more multiple nested quotes, or "quote trains" as we liked to call them. Now, when you quote a post that already contains a quoted post, your post will quote only the last person. I asked about it and nested quotes was written out of the software a long time ago. You'll notice that nested quotes from before the upgrade are still properly displayed, and quoting one of those posts still keeps the train intact, but that's because the old code is still in those posts. When it's necessary to quote more than one person for proper context, use the multi-quote function. It's a little more of a pain but we'll get used to it. Plus, it'll be easier to read -- those quote trains were tough to decipher when they got to six quotes or more, which is probably why they did away with it.
1-0-0-1-0-0-1
For instance, take a look at this post. On a phone or non-wide desktop screen, it's comically unreadable.
