Ozzy postpones all 2019 shows

Ozzy f***ed up the Priest tour with his postponements. I've no idea though why Priest would sign up as Ozzy's support band, especially now after the success of the Firepower album. But even without that Priest are way too big to be Ozzy's backup band unless it's a festival event.

I totally understand. It just seems like in the waning days of arena metal, big bands are... banding together. I saw Megadeth and the Scorpions together a couple of years ago. Both are headliner quality bands.

Seriously, I get it. This hangs up Priest (who I also want to see, it's been since '05) and the clock is ticking for them as well. I'd like to see ELO as well, but it just isn't in the cards for me.

Are you not seeing Priest on this next leg of the tour? They're playing Kent and Airway Heights at the end of June, still time to get tickets.

No money.I haven't been working for most of ayear. Going through medical hell. Wifey bought Ozzy tickets as a gift for surviving the year.

Perforated Diverticulitis. Basically my guts leaked and I went septic. My body poisoned itself. I've had six surgeries so far and will have my final one next Tuesday. As of May 2018 I'm lucky to be alive.

That's rough mate. I wonder what causes it? Are you more or less back to normal now? There won't be any more problems with this will there?

It's genetic. It can be brought on somewhat by diet and a stressful lifestyle, if you are predisposed. I have had a stoma since the end of May, which means shitting into a bag glued to my body next to my belly button. This will be rectified next week. I should be back to normal, more or less and live a normal life expectancy. Just gotta not eat certain things.

That is really terrible mate. I hope everything does get back to normal again.

 

What kind of foods do you have to avoid now?

Oddly enough, certain greens which are high in fiber. Stuff I like to eat. I won't be growing hot peppers anymore. Anything with seeds. Greasy fried foods, which is no problem. I quit eating at Mc Donald's and the like by 27. I'll have a chat with the dietician on the way out to get this nailed down.

Thanks for the offer, my brother. I'm gonna be fine. I'm almost to the finish line. This last surgery will be a quick 3-day turn around, then I rest and heal up for a couple of months. I just need to take it easy for a while. My quiet life out in the woods has been a blessing. I've never been so tired.
