  1. That's a great picture of you, Sunny. I'm assuming the one you posted here (and won't post for me) is the new one in your avatar?

It's so bizarre that you can't see my pictures posting from photobucket.

Yes - that is my new avatar.

  2. your body will recover from the experience, but what it's done for your mind is change you - all for the better.

You have a great experience from which to draw - most don't have the opportunity to do this.

Memories that will last for ever.

Friends that will understand what you went through.

If you don't speak to them for 20 years and you meet them - the conversation will be incredible.

    Remember when?

Camaraderie. You are brothers and sisters of experience.

  3. What an incredible adventure! The pics are fun! :D

    Thanks for sharing

I am trying to encourage my kids to take the opportunity to travel when they can with their groups.

They'll make memories that last a lifetime.

*edit to add, we take them on trips when ever we can - it's time that is completely invaluable. Monetary value not withstanding.

Experience and Memory building the most important draw from traveling.

The world is large and we cannot become blinded by our own little corner being all that there is to experience.

Without having read the 44 previous replies to mine, the patent says B, but I am a firm believer in A.

    Supporting Reasons:

    1) Cats

    2) Kids

Both like to unroll with great fervor once they discover the joy of it.

I have come home to a pile of toilet tissue on the floor below - and let me tell you - it NEVER winds back on the roll quite the same.

  5. I remember there used to be somewhat of a "rivalry" with the Counterparts forum.

I don't remember a rivalry - the CP forum was a bit more "loose" of an atmosphere. A no holds barred (so to speak) hang out.

    We appreciate the moderation here.

Some CPers were a little out there, for my taste, but I belonged to both and I just stayed out of the seedy alleys on CP.

I have some wonderful friends that were way more active on CP than TRF. (Thank God for FB)
