A really strong album imo. Chock full of great tunes, some of the best lyrics Bowie's ever come up with & the band are on tip-top form. Gail Ann Dorsey's bass playing is terrific. Bowie has done a great job on this record.

Great player. I love Showdown, with Johnny Copeland & Albert Collins.
That is a great record. I wonder if you can get it on cd at a reasonable price? I'll have to look. I had it on cassette years ago & wore it out learning "She's Into Something" on guitar.

One of my favourite bands. I've seen them quite a few times over the years & always really enjoyed it. They only ever made one absolute dog of a record (the atrocious "Risk") & one average one ("Cryptic Writings"). Other than that I feel they've had a consistently good career.
Their songs are great fun to learn to play too. I like them.

What a beautiful guitar. The last guitar I bought was a Charvel San Dimas 2 in Candy Tangerine finish. Brilliant instrument, a joy to play. Very reasonable price-wise as well. Charvels are great on the whole.

"Bad Influence" is one of my favourite blues albums of all time. Every song is a classic. "False Accusations" is a great record too. I've seen him once years ago & he was very good. He's one of those musicians who has just been of a consistently high standard throughout his career.
