Lol. A few people will vehemently disagree with 1/3 of that. I wont tho. Yup. I got nothing against CA. I'm just quite shocked that they are playing that much material from it, after they played nearly the whole album each night over the last tour.

Didn't think of that, good point. Granted, it's not unheard of for them to do a mostly instrumental dress rehearsal. There is a famous boot from the T4E tour of the dress rehearsal there, and Geddy does a few scant vocals here and there on it.

I wouldn't call this a dissapointment (RTB excepted) or even a safe set, but otherwise yeah. I don't think that all of these are gonna be every nighters (particularly the CA ones) either.

I don't think it'll be all of 2112 or Cygnus, perhaps not even JL. When the band prints 2112 on live liner notes or something, they usually just mean Overture/Temples.

TM, I ain't jumpy, as work is slow and its actually the highlight of my afternoon. How sad. S&A 2007 tour setlist was leaked the night before opening, some people were listening outside the dress rehearsal.

Also, no Garden? Isn't that their favourite song from the album and pretty much ever? Unless it has no animation or effects....

Only thing that has me skeptical is CA. How will that happen with the smaller kit? Otherwise, strongest rumor yet, though still a possible fake.

Saw Nightwish last night in Vancouver. With opening acts (Delain, Sabaton) and intermissions, 4 hours. Longest show I've ever been to, and probably the most intense (with the partial exception of Rush). I'm so fracking sore.... Agreed. There were people at the show who came almost specifically for Sabaton. Not really my sort of thing, but they're awfully nice guys, very fun.

Bit disapointed to find that Dark Chest Of Wonders has been dropped. Really looking forward to it.

With regards to Clockwork Angels: I don't think the song itself will be played, bitchin' as it is. Headlong flight, The Garden, and possibly Caravan are the most likely songs. The rest are too concept album specific, and unlikely to be played outside of that context.

Nothing from CA deserves to begin or end a set, or is worthy of an encore. The title track at 7 plus minutes does not deserve R40 time. Booo-urns to that :P

This sounds about right. I think we could call this the first part of a long, highly segmented, last tour.

When I saw Dream Theater last year, I was standing for the whole show, like most of the people in the first 10 rows on the floor. I was rocking out and waving and acting like a jackass for the first 2 (EPIC!) songs, and when I deigned to sit down for a second during the slow start up for the 3rd song, the guy behind me told me I was not allowed to sit down XD

At a Rush show? Stand, if at all possible. Rock out too! Again, unless there is someone who is infirm, or really short, or some such. And even then, an accomodation can usually be reached. Also, aim for back row seats, or seats at the end of a row (and if you are short/don't care to stand, try and get a frontish row seat).
