Just came back from seeing it and was very impressed. Followed the book quite faithfully, the kids could actually act as well. Was a lot better than the last potter film in my opinion. And no, it wasn't really filmed like LOTR once I sat down and watched it.

My next is Thunder in January.

Was just given Peter Greenaway's "The Cook, The Thief, His Wife and Her Lover" for a late birthday gift. This film fits all three of the above. Not too late to put it on your Xmas list.

My Fav Floyd album is Atom Heart Mother. I've been lucky to see them twice. Once in '75 Touring Dark Side and previewing tracks that ended up on Wish You Were Here and Animals. Then in '80 (I think) to see The Wall in Earl's Court. I love me some Pink Floyd.

I'm a great fan of Peter Greenaway's films. A Zed and Two Noughts Drowning By Numbers The Cook, The Thief, His Wife and Her Lover All have dark and sinister themes running through them. He is an aquired taste though. Like Guinness you either love him or hate him.

I'm quite enjoying listening to new stuff, well new to me anyway. Having three teenage boys helps to expand your listening if you're prepared to give some new bands a listen. Try going to www.last.fm. Once you register and download their player you can listen to loads of new music in all genres. If you listen to mainstream crap well then you get what you deserve.

I'm not a huge fan, although the books have got better as they've been published. I quite enjoyed reading the last one. Unfortunately the acting has got more wooden as the films have been released.
