  9. I guess I overlooked this flyer in all the "paperwork" that came in my copy of The Return of the King. I've got all 3 of the extende versions and last night I found this offer for $3.00 (for just s/h only) for a 'Special Edition Premium Slipcase' to keep these 3 versions together. A 'make your own box-set' kind of deal, I guess, if you're into that sort of thing. Anyway, it's good for anybody who wants one (no coupon needed from your purchase) just by going to their website before Mar. 31, 2005. Just thought I'd pass that along as I just ordered one myself. http://www.lotrdvdbox.com/

  13. QUOTE (Schro @ Mar 2 2005, 02:53 PM)Around 1960, Graham Chapman and John Cleese joined the The Footlights Revue, a comedy troupe of Cambridge University, where Cleese went to get his Law degree. (I'm not quite certain why Graham was there - probly to pick up chicks). They also worked together on The Frost Report in 1965, but Footlights predates this. Incidentally, I might mention I believe your clue was referring to the now infamous Black Knight scene. Good day, Schro P.S. The cat lives! The cat lives! 1962 it was, and the revue at Cambridge was called "Double Take" Nice goin' Schro! (and it was the Black Knight scene in my hints!) You're up! Graham was probably there to 'cause it surely wasn't the other!!!
  14. QUOTE (afansince74 @ Feb 28 2005, 10:10 PM)QUOTE (afansince74 @ Feb 27 2005, 10:35 AM) It's obviously time for a hint: These two fought each other in the Holy Grail. Hint #2: (Refering to hint #1)... One surely bled to death, the other 'passed' Hint #3: Probably the "most famous" Python; and the only 'dead' one! (The next hint, if there's one, will be the answer!)
  15. Sat or Sun for me is good (voted for Sat since I had to pick one!)
  16. Saw him on Letterman a night or 2 ago, and it looked interesting. I would probably go see it, if I lived closer that 60+ miles to a theater!!! Be sure to let us know what you thought of it!
  17. QUOTE (Magnus @ Mar 1 2005, 01:07 AM) Buzz Sherwood rocks! I remember one really early episode where he was showing Red how he "ripped the guts" out of his remote-control model airplane and connected them to his floatplane...and then crashed it while demonstrating it to Red. And, of course, there's Adventures With Bill--I was really happy when Rick Green came back to the show. http://www.pbs.org/redgreen/bill.jpg That's one of 2 episodes I was thinking of when I said I miss Buzz!! That's so funny! Did you see the one where Buzz and Red are looking all around for his plane on the dock 'cause they think someone stole it and they finally find it, sunk, next to the dock and Buzz looks at it and says... "Look how cleeeean it is!!" And Aventures with Bill is always great! Glad he's there too! Love Handyman's Corner too! And Red's 'little talks' to "you men out there..." while he's making fishing flies. Classic stuff!!

  20. QUOTE (Sodoff Baldrick @ Feb 28 2005, 12:57 PM) The eps before Harold left to join the corporate world were the best. it kinda jumped the shark for me when they started focussing on minor players like the sewage sucking guy and the ex-con and the animal trainer, funny though they are. Yea, I gotta agree. I don't watch it as 'regularly' as I did back then, and they dropped to one episode a week now instead of 2 so I miss it sometimes now! I really liked Buzz Sherwood and his sea plane!
  21. Just caught this last night... They had a relay race with the 3 contestants And their 'partners'), down and back 3 times, once by leap-frog, once in a sack-race together in the same sack, and then the classic 2-person wheel barrow race to the finish. Not a big deal... unless your partners are all completely NUDE!!! OMFG!!! I was dying!!! SOOO FUNNY!
  22. WOW... Sorry about that... I totally spaced! It's obviously time for a hint: These two fought each other in the Holy Grail.
