Priest even stole the intro to their best song, Beyond The Realms Of Death, from Styx. f***ing Styx!

I told you all he wasn’t heavy metal but al-loo-min-e-um.
70s “metal” was al-loo-min-e-um compared to what came after, even Sabbath. Hard Rock for the win!

+1 exactly my list
I'd say Harmony and GFD are a close third, maybe tie. To The Bone isn't as far from #3/4 as Raven is from HCE. All his releases fall in the 'very good' bucket, except tFB at the bottom and HCE at the top. Both firmly earn their places.
To The Bone came across better live.

My interest in metal ended when British Steel came out. Breaking The Law! I’m Breaking The Law!
Ferk off.

How do you rate the album compared to the others? And how do you rank all seven?
Hand.Cannot.Erase is far and away the best, for me. Then I’d put Raven and Harmony Codex followed by GFD, To the Bone, Insurgentes and finally TFB.

Listened to the album in full blown Atmos with the book and the lyrics in front of me. Fantastic experience.

The Prince? Thats not a children’s book, it’s a political essay.

The Little Prince
I did the French version for “O level” French. I usually hate the books I’ve had to “study” but this one endures.

His rapping on Actual Brutal Facts is the first time I've heard bars on a prog album since Roll The Bones
Me and my wife literally just said that it reminded us of Roll The Bones.

Okay, just finished. A solid 8/10. I might even go higher.

this is good news for me Tony. i don't care if he tries something or not i just want something to enjoy. and i did not like the future Bites. so again i'm ok with what you described. now i'm kinda excited.
Mick
It’s almost like he wanted to fix The Future Bites. Still a lot of electronica but used far more cinematically in fact it’s obvious he’s pushing for a soundtrack opportunity.

RIP.
Great actor.

I don’t know if he realises (or cares) but there’s quite a lot of almost note for note excerpts from all his solo albums and some from In Absentia and CC.

Yeah mine arrives tomorrow but I’m off on holiday before it will get posted. Downloaded hi - res version.
It’s going to sound fantastic in surround but it’ll be nearly two weeks before I can get back and listen to it on my system

Was about to post that it finally leaked. Haven't had a chance to listen yet. My Bluray arrives tomorrow from the UK, that's damn quick.
It's amazing he's managed to prevent any leaks on the last two albums until just days before, and those are likely only because people are getting their preordered copies.

Listening to the new album now, has hints of PT and Wilson’s work on Grace For Drowning and The Future Bites but way better than either. In some ways it’s almost like a tribute to Peter Gabriel.
Of course it sounds fantastic.
