  1. We had Zero issues. Kind sir, I would just like to thank you from the bottom of this little Rush fans heart - what you did for us literally gave me the BEST concert experience of my life - and I am quite confident I speak for my brother as well!! Seriously man, who Does that??? You, sir, have reminded me that there are still some really kind and cool people in the world, not afraid to go out of their way and do something really awesome for a couple of fellow Rush fans. Neither of us have ever ever ever had front row tickets - it was but a mere dream - a sparkle in our eyes - "maybe some day..." lolol this sounds very sappy but I dont care, its 100% true. You would think I just won the lottery. Ha!!! Thank you Thank you Thank you!!! I know this wasnt ideal for ya, sooooo sorry you had to miss the show - but rest assured your tickets went to some crazy loving fans!

P.S. Yeah um, the show itself, was Fantastic, the guys were on fire, Geddy sounds amazing right now - he is definitely well oiled - did I mention he sang to me? Directly to me. We had a moment.... a little wink here, a little smile there.... Yeah.... at least that is what I convinced myself for three hours. default/smile.png default/smile.pngdefault/smile.png

Until the next show, thanks again - if we ever cross paths, not the first but EVERY round is on me...

    You are so welcome!!!

I had the wonderful opportunity of a front row ticket back in 2008 in Hershey, PA...in front of Alex...by another huge Rush fan who couldn't make the show and only charged me the face value of the ticket. It was absolutely the best concert experience I have ever had...bar none. It is almost like they are playing the show just for you. I know for a fact or at least I like to think that Alex made eye contact with me. It sounds goofy and sappy, but it made my night!!!

And I will take you up on that offer of every round on you if we ever do cross paths.

  2. In the future, you might not want to post pictures of tickets with the barcode. Hopefully everyone in this forum is honest and won't copy them!

So sorry about that...that never even crossed my mind that someone somehow could use the barcode from the pictures to make copies of the tickets. <img src='<!--url[0]-->default/sad.png' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='default/sad.png' />

Hopefully eshine and carnies didn't have any issues...

Oh don't worry, they made it in fine. Me ande vprtrls talked to them before the show and I told them I was mad because I really wanted those tickets default/tongue.png

Glad to hear. I am so happy someone got a chance to use them.

I'm so ticked off at hurricane Sandy. Ruined my whole weekend of Rush...

I have two tickets in section 3 row A...yes, the front row on Geddy's side...that I have to get rid of.  They are seats 13 & 14.

Here is a photo of them...

I was planning on going to Cleveland this weekend from NJ but due to hurricane Sandy, I will have to cancel my plans.  I have to worry about my basement flooding and not actually being able to get back to NJ due to possible cancelled flights on Monday.

I will charge face value, $96 per ticket, plus shipping.  PayPal would be the preferred method of payment.  PM me or leave a reply here and I will get right back to you.

I will overnight them via FedEx with Saturday delivery.

I am really bummed out about this...  fists crying.gif ...but hope a couple Rush fans can put them to good use.

Dude, you make me proud to be a fellow Rush fan!

    Rock on!

    Thanks!!! biggrin.gif

A fellow Rush fan once did me a favor by NOT overcharging for a front row ticket he had for the Hershey show on the Snakes & Arrows tour he was unable to make...so figured why not pay that back?

It is really killing me not to be going. fists crying.gif

  6. 6. Headlong Flight needs to be added to ANY setlist they do after this tour. It just simply rocks and they tear it up. This was by far the best song of the night when I saw them in Philly and Newark...and hopefully in Cleveland.

  7. Question for anyone that attended the Newark show on Saturday night. What was written on the sign Geddy was referring to at the end of 2112 when he said "And that's a f***ing sign"?

I was in the 12th row of section A and couldn't see it.

As for the show, it absolutely rocked, gremlins and all. This being my 23rd time seeing them, I think this may have been my favorite. Grand Designs & Territories were the highlights for me in the first set. I can't help myself...I'm a Power Windows fanatic.

The Clockwork Angels set was fantastic. The Anarchist, my personal favorite from Clockwork, was a highlight of the second set. And much to my surprise, Wish Them Well went over really well.

The overall best song of the night I thought was Headlong Flight. They kicked up the energy on that one a notch or two and it really showed. I'm hoping it remains a permanent fixture in their setlist in the future.

The best way for me to describe the night...energy, fun, excitement, fantastic musicianship...in short, a Rush show!!!

    Rush rocks!!!

Well my tickets are downloadable apparently, but it says they won't be available for download till tomorrow..

I too have used StubHub and haven't had an issue.

Although for the tickets I picked up last week for the Philly show, I had the same issue as you are having now. They were not available to download until a day after I completed the transaction.

When the day came to download the tickets, they still were not available. I promptly called StubHub and within a few minutes I was sent an email with the tickets.

It worked out well and their customer service was very helpful.

    Enjoy the show!!!

Grand Designs, Territories, and The Pass made my year...
and Headlong Flight was all I was hoping live and more

I hear you. Those songs were highlights for me along with the songs off of Clockwork.

Can't wait to see them in Newark!!!

I agree...show was fantastic last night in Philly...even from the balcony suites way up high!!!

  11. I lucked out back in 2008 on the Snakes & Arrows tour when someone was selling a front row ticket at Hershey Stadium...for face value.

I was just right of Alex's mic stand (facing the stage) and it was quite the experience. I was probably 6 or 7 feet from the stage but the stage there was quite high so it made it seem a bit further.

All in all...it was worth it, especially for face value. It sounds goofy to say, but the eye contact I made with both Alex and Geddy really made the show that much more special and I also got a nod from Geddy when I believe he saw my Spinal Tap tshirt I was wearing. This was the tour he had the mini Stonehenge stone on his keyboard which must have been a Spinal Tap reference.

Would I do it again? Sure would...
