I'm with ya! I've been smitten with her voice ever since picking up "Felt Mountain" years ago. All of their stuff is brilliant.

Sadly my black t-shirt from the Power Windows tour (with dates and retro TV on the back) has long since faded and gone. So now I just have a cool Signals New World Tour jersey from the Backstage club. Looks just like the classic one!

Tough, but here's off the top of my head: Tom Sawyer Analog Kid Subdivisions La Villa Strangiato Natural Science By-Tor and the Snow Dog Big Money Freewill Anthem Territories
-
In the next coupla months going to catch for sure: Sharon Jones and the Dap Kings Celtic Frost Ladytron ...not on the same bill of course...that would be one hell of a diverse crowd!!!
-
The Prisoner Mystery Science Theater 3000 Fawlty Towers The Simpsons Batman!

I like The Running Man. It's such a thrill seeing those criminals executed on live TV just when they think they're going to escape!!!

Jennifer Connelly is a long-time fave. But lately drooling over Scarlett Johansson whenever we see a movie with her in it has me getting in trouble with the wife.

Definitive albums in your life

Here's just a few Rock albums (I won't get into Jazz and Soul or else there'd be too many!): Rush "Power Windows" - first Rush album I ever heard. Rush "Moving Pictures" - the 2nd. And the one that really drew me in, leading me down the road to total Rush fanboy! The Beatles "Abbey Road" - thanks to my folks, the Beatles were already familiar before I even started buying records. It seems like I've always loved em. Husker Du "Zen Arcade" Minutemen "Double Nickels On The Dime" The Clash "London Calling" Bad Brains "Rock For Light" - despite my love of Rush, punk was what helped me survive high school in the '80s. These were and are monumental albums. The Stooges "Funhouse" - the greatest ROCK album ever made. God bless Iggy. Metallica "Master of Puppets" Slayer "Reign In Blood" Iron Maiden "Powerslave" Motorhead "Ace of Spades" As a punk, it was easy to ridicule metal in the '80s, particularly hair bands. These proved to me that there was metal, then there was METAL! Sonic Youth "Daydream Nation" - expands my eardrums and my mind. Unbelievable. The Birthday Party "Junkyard" - Nick Cave's first band. The most dangerous sound on the planet. Evil and twisted. XTC "Black Sea" - punk/new wave meets The Beatles. How could I not love it? The Kinks "Village Green Preservation Society" - an overlooked gem that I discovered about 10 years ago. To this day its perfection stands up against anything else out there. Goldfrapp "Felt Mountain" - the most amazing and beautiful record I've heard in years. It's pure bliss. Allison Goldfrapp's voice is a drug. The Futureheads "The Futureheads" - an amazing debut by a band I think is the best new rock band out there.
