The only reason I bought the VHS of "The Phantom Menace" was because there would supposedly be no DVD release until the new trilogy was done. After LucasFilm turned around and released a DVD of it within a year, I swore off buying any more media until they figured out what the hell they were going to release. Now they're doing it again. Good thing I still haven't given them a dime outside of what I've paid at the cinema. -Scotty ^ Saw The Phantom Menace like 18 times when it came out.

I just started watching the first season of the new Doctor Who a few weeks ago. I had been taping it for a friend, but hadn't been watching it (I largely gave up watching TV years ago). I watched one episode, got hooked, and then went back through my tapes and was able to see most of the first season. It looks like the USA will get a standard boxed DVD set in July. The UK got a bigger boxed set in the shape of the TARDIS. I'll end up getting one or the other in July (I'm still hoping the bigger box gets released for region 1 )
