This was a fun track to record....bass tone is epic.

To my ears, there is only one band who "does" this genre properly and that's The Wildhearts.

I hate Christmas with a passion but force myself to go along with the nonsense so as to appease family.....I have as little to do with the present malarkey as I possibly can though.

Neither exactly top tier stuff but Afterimage by a long way.

Completely agree with you...the only reason they get any attention imo is that Hale has an undeniably great voice.

However their music is cheesy, derivative and has terrible lyrics

It's the reason they do a plethora of covers, because they can't write any decent songs of their own.

I agree...I was trying to say that in a roundabout way...faking these reactions would be practically impossible.....she's a joy to watch.

I agree.....if she's an actor then she's a very, very good one.

Christ on a bike, it gets worse.....fantastic and underrated player who had this amazing technique of playing rhythm and lead at the same time....he leaves a classic legacy of blues/rock music bith with the incomparable Dr Feelgood and solo.....his recent collaboration with Roger Daltrey is excellent listening.

Before they were a hard rock band they were pretty goth/post punk...they wemt under the name of Southern Death Cult then Death Cult, eventually becoming The Cult we are more familiar with.
