I began this false identity as a way to console my fellow keepers of the flame for I had begun to lose hope. I thought that if I could make others believe that THE hilda had returned and was among us, that my own flame could be restored. However, I was wrong. First of all, no one fell for my duplicitous charade and therefore i found no warmth among you in the joy that possibly hilda had returned. Now, where my heart once was warm with the flame of hope, i now am cold with the pain of despair. Once where I smiled at the possibility of our precious hilda's return to tell us more of her adventures dancing in the aisles while locked in fleeting gaze with Alex, i now only sigh and frown at the loss of this never to be event. For MY flame HAS died. It was dying before I was so bold to even dare to "become" hilda, but now it is completely snuffed as my ploy had such an adverse effect. I can only apologize for my duplicity and hope you can all forgive me. This alter identity was only meant to help and with that intent, i retire it to the glory of what it may have represented. h1lda will no longer exist and maybe... just maybe... THE hilda will return. But I fear my flame is snuffed. For those of you who did not know... h1lda is I...

OH MY GOD!!! You people have made me so happy. I heard there was a grassroots campaign starting here at TRF to get me to return. I can't explain why I was away at this time, but all you need to know is that i AM back and will never leave again. To the wonderful man known simply as TICK... THANK YOU FOR KEEPING THE FLAME ALIVE. I am deeply touched.
