Jonny Bairstow's astonishing 108 from 48 balls leads Punjab Kings to the highest-ever successful T20 run-chase.
What does that even mean? (cricket)

The 2024 NFL Draft is underway!
Unlimited drama and excitement and intrique! (Well…..maybe not….)
That they're doing this in prime time tells you just how popular it is. I read yesterday that more people watched the Superbowl this year than watched the most watched NBA game ever.

Yes! I go to the cinema ! Specifically, the La Crosse Cinema in La Crosse, Wisconsin! A cinema is also called a theater and a movie theater.
A film is also called a movie, a motion picture, a moving picture and a flick.
I really miss my old Minolta 35mm film camera. When I was in Europe, I took 36 rolls of pictures. That sure was a lot of film to develop!!
My first decent camera was a Minolta XG-M. I took a lot of pictures with that thing and it served me well.

China is an authoritarian government. Useful idiots may tell you that a Chinese company is not necessarily beholden to the CCP. You're smart. Is that consistent with how you've seen those type of governments act?
Tik Tok can continue on in the U.S. as long as it likes. It just can't be run by a company that is a front for the CCP.
From the link you posted (CNN, really?)
The evidence, such as it is, remains rather thin. It is a sworn statement by Yu, who is suing ByteDance in a wrongful termination case in California state court. The declaration does not provide documentation, internal messages or other primary source materials to substantiate the claim.
I don't see any reason why the terminated employee would fabricate a story, do you? Would their story hold up in court with literally no evidence other than their word?

I have never used Tik Tok but know of others who use it for their business. I would assume they could use other social media for the same thing but I am not clear on why the same scrutiny is not being directed towards Meta, YouTube and Twitter. The foreign government involvement is worrisome but I haven't seen much information to back that up. Seems like a knee jerk reaction IMHO but I don't have a dog in this fight.
Because there isn't any.

Why is LeBron such a pu$$y? He blames their loss on an overturned call in the 3rd quarter but seems to forget they blew a 20 point lead. He'll never be as good as Jordan no matter how many points he scores or how many games the Lakers win. Such an entitled pantywaiste.

Lol at the outrage over Cailtlin Clark's WNBA contract, seeing as she just signed a $28 million contract with Nike and her jersey has already sold out.
Salaries will rise if people attend and tune in. Period.
If the people being outraged about her salary as compared to a rookie in the NBA would take the time to look into how much money the NBA is worth vs what the WNBA pulls in, they might shut their pie holes (but probably not).

I don’t personally believe that. It’s more systems with more potentials for failure.
A well-engineered electric vehicle is the gold standard of reliability. At best, an extremely well-engineered ICE vehicle can maybe attempt to come close.
It's the same systems that are used on non-hybrid vehicles, no? The all electric ones use a similar system but with a larger battery and the all gas/diesel use the same but without the electric integration. Unless they came up with a completely new gasoline powered system to install on hybrid vehicles, wouldn't the ICE in a standard Camry be the same as the one in a hybrid Camry but with less HP?
