  1. I think the important thing with any illness(physical or mental) is the persistence of it. If you start with a sore throat and a cough and congestion and you decide to self diagnose it as a viral flu and take over the counter meds and it lingers for 3 weeks or so without improving than the self diagnosis has to go out the window and you need to see a Doctor for further examination. The same can go for Mental Illness. If you start with a series of bad days maybe stemming from a family circumstance or work related issue that brings you mood down then you can certainly self diagnose it a depression and get materials to read, journal on your own. If it lingers though and gets remarkably worse where it is effecting your work and other activities than the self diagnosis needs to go out the window and you need to see a Professional. This is just my opinion.
  2. Hmm, licking my lips. I have to say the early 2000's he was pretty damn sexy looking. He had the who grunge look going.
  3. I grew up in Howard County and now live in Harford County.
  4. Yes, Triumph always seems like the step child to Rush, but they have put out some fantastic music over the years. Rik Emmett is also a Guitar God.
  5. Back in college I dated a guy who liked Rush. Too bad after 4 months of dating him I also caught him liking this other girl who lived in the dorms.
  6. Hello Rush Fans. I'm Teagan and I'm 25 and a High School Art Teacher who teaches anything from Art History, to Pottery, to Drawing, and also Painting just to name a few things. I also have a passion for Classic Rock music from the 70's and 80's including Rush, Triumph, Jethro Tull, Heart, Fleetwood Mac, R.E.M., The Smiths, Men Without Hats, The B-52's, and Depeche Mode. Back in my Middle School and High School days I also dabbled in playing the Flute and I also performed Gymnastics from the age of 5 to 17. A funny Teacher fact for anyone here that is also a teacher I get mistaken for a student at least a few times a week by parents of the other students because everyone I know says I look like I am about 14 or 15 years old. This is my 2nd year of teaching Art at the High School and my 1st year I have to admit I was a bit uncomfortable at first, but then the students really looked at me as a teacher and gave me respect which helped the situation out a lot. My faculty also is wonderful and provides support as we have a mentor program and there is a wonderful Art Teacher I mentor with who has been teacher for over 20 years. So back to Rush, I have been to 2 concerts in my lifetime and my favorite song is "Subdivisions" and my favorite album is Signals. I hope to chat with you all soon. Teagan
  7. I am 25 and will be 26 later in July even though all of my friends and other people say I look 14 or 15 years old.
