  1. I like Nektar Recycled best, side A is full of Larry Fast synthetic work.
  2. Bullocks 200) Happy the Man "Happy the Man" 1977 Arista recording artist HtM among the best of US 70's , almost became Peter Gabriels back up band. Falls somewhere between symphonic and slight Canterbury feel.
  3. Doh! I was going to post this one. Fripp produced it also. I remember purchasing it over 20 years ago. I walked into a CD store and asked to order it. The clerk said "you mean this one" and grabbed it off the shelf.

  5. The Civil Service by Egg and Of Queues and Cures by National Health should be in the list at some point. Concur
  6. 193. Hatfield & the North "Rotters Club" 1975. One of Richard Branson first signs to the Virginia label. To me this is the single most important Canterbury record.
  7. Anglagard Hybris 1992 The highest rated post 1970s album on many a prog list
  8. 164) Shylock Gialorgues. French instrumental from 1975. Similar to solo Hackett and Camel with very melodic guitars leads.
  9. 159) SFF Symphonic Pictures. All instrumental German band from the 70s. Loads of Mellotron and analog sweetness. Zappa was supposed to produce them, but they sound nothing like Zappa.
