Sorry to add even more confusion to this whole thing, but third time is the charm. This just arrived from Irvine Meadows: http://i59.tinypic.com/bi40hv.jpg I'm super pumped. I have no idea why they forwarded mine and rejected others, but finally success. Other than a crease in the right top corner, it came back in decent condition too considering the trip from Boston to California and back to Boston. Correct me if i'm wrong, but it looks like Geddy is who personalized it? Also i'll point out that it must truly be luck of the draw because I did absolutely nothing different in regards to how I sent it as compared to my past two failures. Could even come down to who is working the mailroom at the arena on a particular day and if he/she wants to be bothered forwarding mail. Who knows...anyways, this bad larry is going in a frame on my wall. Thanks Rush.

WEAK. At least it's a good thing you're getting it back. I also sent a record to Irvine, it got delivered the day before the show, and since then it's been radio silence. It's only been a week, but I can't imagine they would've forwarded mine while refusing yours. Sucks.

Did you send them an album? Honestly, I can't figure out how this autograph thing all works. Do you have other things that they've signed over the years or on this tour? I sent the 2112 LP jacket. Never had anything else signed by them on this tour or any other prior tour. First time sent back unsigned, sent again, sent back unsigned again missing note + sharpie. Oh well. I sent a different record (Moving Pictures) to their second-to-last show on Thursday, so we'll see how it pans out.

For what it's worth, my record arrived in Seattle the Wednesday before their Sunday show, and came back unsigned. They did however take the silver sharpie I had included and used it to sign other items. :(

Just got my 2112 LP back from Seattle...unsigned. Second unsuccessful attempt this tour. The note I wrote the band and the sharpie I sent were both missing, and both times the record arrived in my SASE, not the original envelope, so who knows what happened there...but this LP has been to Boston and Seattle and both times got sent back unsigned. I've never sent anything in before, so I'm not sure of any reason why the guys wouldn't sign it. I know they don't owe me or anyone autographs, it's just kind of a bummer striking out both times when people here have had success with both Boston and Seattle. I'm going to try one more time and send the Moving Pictures LP I just got today to either Irvine Meadows or LA. Hoping third time is the charm.

I just got back my 2112 LP that I sent to Boston...and it came back unsigned. :( It arrived to the TD Garden last friday, and the boys played this past tuesday. I guess someone at the Garden didn't care to forward it to Liam Birt, and just shoved everything into my SASE and sent it back to me. The letter, cardboard, and sharpie were all included...and the vinyl now has a crease in the corner. I'm pretty bummed. But I got the thing back at least... So out of the remaining tour dates this summer, which ones have a good track record of forwarding stuff to the band? In this thread I see Seattle and Denver are good options...I'm not sure if I feel confident that the LP go across the country and back again without getting trashed, but I guess that's the risk. Does anyone know if Irving Meadows or the LA Forum forward stuff? I want to buy the Moving Pictures reissue and send that to get signed as well. Thanks
