I can't really say that it ripped my head off. But it's a damned fine song.

Awesome. I hope after it's restored he records music specifically with that bass.
Then maybe Geddy will buy it from him.- 1

I have finally started EMERGENCY! . Got the DVD set a couple of years ago. Going to relive my 2nd favorite childhood show for a couple of weeks. Some of the really early episodes, like the pilot/move I'd never seen before. Holds up pretty well as a 'period piece'.
After this I may move on to Star Trek TOS. I don't think I've actually watched an episode - outside of "City On The Edge Of Forever" - in about 15 years.- 1

Yeah, I remember that in NYC. Piles of snow on most street corners at least 20 feet high.
We'd turn them into forts, climb up and let snowball hell rain down on those below. Fun times for a bunch of 10-13 year olds.- 3

Being of a certain age and living in the UK, I go all the way back to William Hartnell. DW was staple viewing on a Saturday evening. (In fairness, we had very few alternative channels in those days.) For some reason the Cybermen gave me nightmares as a kid.
When Jon Pertwee came along (plus the onset of raging hormones) I had a big thing for companion Jo Grant (Katy Manning.)
Something about the early '70s mini skirts and long boots!!
It still works today. :)
Elisabeth Sladen was a doll. Such a sad loss.- 2

Big fan of the show, I could go on for hours but I got shit to do. I do own it on DVD. I wonder if it’s streaming anywhere. Damn, I should revisit that.
I borrowed a DVD a couple of years ago and ripped the eps. Finally getting around to watching it now. Never saw it first run.

Space Above and Beyond. Mid 90's sci-fi. Cancelled after 1 season, 23 episodes.
It's decent for what it is. Military operations in space fighting an unknown enemy. Some moral dillema kind of stuff too. Fun little show.- 1

Like grep I'm still undecided about the new Who although the change has certainly revitalised the show.
With regard to favourite eras I'm afraid I'm a bit of an old dinosaur and go with Jon Pertwee and Tom Baker as my two faves. In recent times I really liked David Tennant in the role.
I'm pretty much aligned with you. Tom Baker was my first doctor - watching Who on a staticky UHF channel in the 80's.
Modern Who it's both Matt and David for me, and frankly - I think McGann had a great incarnation too. I know...more than one fave. It's hard to not like them all. -
I don't know yet if I like the new face. Maybe after a couple of episodes I'll warm up to him. He certainly brings his own game - that's for sure.

These days same...but when depression hits ugly, Bon Jovi are such a mood lifter.
This is exactly it. It's 'feel good' rock. Not cerebral at all - just have some fun for a while.
