The main thing I worry about is Bruce's voice. He still does a really good job. His voice has shown to have inhuman endurance over the years considering how high of range that older stuff is and the overall demanding style the music requires. He's 64, so the days of doing songs like Flight Of Icarus and Aces High are definitely numbered. The next tour is focusing on Somewhere In Time which will be a big challenge for him especially if they play the title track. Nicko is 70. Who knows how much longer he can keep playing this style for?

Yes, that all makes sense. It's amazing he can still sing that high after so many years.

    Guess we'll see!

I saw them live in Toronto this Tuesday. Great show, although I saw them in 2019 on the same tour, minus the three songs from Senjutsu. They still rock, but now it kinda shows that the end is near.

Why do you think that Rod? I mean, they'e certainly not getting any younger but was there stuff you saw in the show that makes you think that?

I appreciate the thought.  The fan club presale was today. So in theory you would have already gotten the code. I was a member for a couple of years but didn't renew it because it didn't seem like anything was going on.

    I'm being sincere.

LONG time ago I was friendly with someone who worked on music tours. He had a low opinion of "The Edge".

Bono...everyone loves Bono. What is there to not like.

U2 is not everyone's cup of tea. That's cool.

    The Edge, really??

Laura, About "the Cat (Stephen)", someone else had asked that similar question in "the On/Off Thread".  I haven't known, where he is, from him, didn't receive anything, and if something happened to him, I don't know.  Since the both of you looked, and appeared to be talking on these forum threads to each other, I was starting to think the both of you were e-mailing each other, and you did hear from him.

We would message on occasion. I know he takes breaks sometimes but it’s been a while.

I've wanted to answer this question, too.  Laura, no, I wasn't planning on it, and for it, I didn't buy tickets.  For me, whatever amount of advertising, the Coronavirus pandemic, and anything else, it had nothing to do, with those things.  The convenience of traveling to attend was.  What was with the "Caps Lock"?

Because we’ve all been talking about this now for what seems like forever and no one has actually said that they are going or not many anyway.

I went to two more free concerts at the New York State Fair this weekend.

On Saturday, I saw Dropkick Murphys. I'm a big fan of them, and this was my third time seeing them. They were incredible! They played a long set full of hits and deep cuts, and their onstage energy was great!  They looked like they were having a blast. At the end, I got to meet their singer, Ken Casey. He signed my other shirt. I also got a picture with him, and a guitar pick from Tim Brennan!

Yesterday, I saw Night Ranger! They've been my second favorite band (behind Rush) for a long time. This was also my third time seeing them. They were really good! They mostly played their big hits, but they did throw in some deep cuts, a song from their newest album, some Damn Yankees songs, and a medley of songs from the solo artists their guitarists had played with, including Slash, Alice Cooper, and Ozzy Osbourne. They have so much chemistry together. You could tell they were enjoying themselves. I loved when the two guitarists and the bassist would line up and rock out, and when the three of them would stand on the drum riser together! I was able to get a setlist and one of Keri Kelli's guitar picks!

A good gf and her bf were there in the front at Night Ranger, she's a huge fan, they got there in the morning and waited all day in the rain. she said it was great.
