Ahh, Captain fantastic and 52nd St. very nice ! And making movies, though I have to say my fave Dire Straits and probably in my top ten is Love Over Gold.

Nothing yet.. but I will hopefully see Elbow at the Wiltern in November.

Rock 'n' roll Hall of Fame in Brooklyn in April and then metallica for the first time ever at giants stadium in May!

Yes, my nephew does! I should really think about it. I was all excited for awhile and then I found out I have to get a crown on a tooth and I looked at the checkbook. :P. Maybe Geddy will get a wild urge to make a side trip to Amish country afterwards! :D

 

I have a crown in my future too, though not now, but I think it's inevitable. I love ELO also, so I'm excited to go to this.

Well, either way I got a ticket off Stubhub and will be there. I really hope they jam at the end!

I always go to CVS but the Rite Aid was on the way home, and at the cash register they had Ice Cubes for $.39 each which is my all-time favorite candy since I was a kid .

Only saw them once but it was this last tour and in the 7th row, so it's ok!

I need to get to this thing, i'd much rather get a ticket during the presale then have to wait and buy stub hub or whatever.

Tried to buy tix for this today during the RRHOF presale with a RRHOF membership, but guess what... no tix :fuckinputer: unless I am willing to pay $2000 per seat...

 

:( :( I was hoping to see what they had on Monday, the Citibank card presale. As of last weekend, my nephew lives in the area; a cheap overnight stay! Maybe they will release more sections of tickets then? hahahahahahahaha One can always hope I guess . . . . . .

 

Oh, they'll release more for that and then they'll still hold them back for public presale as well. Right now I'm scrambling to find a citicard to use!

I'm such a loser, I slept late, woke up around 10:30 and found out about the presale for the RRHOF members (I had to have signed up by end of last year, never occurred to me) and then a friend gave me the code but it was already sold out for them....UGH

Mindcrime no doubt

Even though I did a lot of really cool things, this year sucked for me too. My heart was broken, I got laid off in March, and a dear friend died in December.

And so many losses in the entertainment world: Lake, Emerson, George Michael, Mrs. Brady! Carrie Fisher then poor Debbie Reynolds, Alan Thicke. Prince.

 

Pretty sure this has been the worst year of my life.

I had an 86 Mustang. Loved it. My parents had two when I was little. A 64 1/2 and 69. Wish they'd kept them!
