  1. In his radio interview a couple days ago, Alex was asked about skipping Cleveland. He said they're 'looking into it' and 'some things didn't line up right', so he's vaguely hinting that they'll try to play it. But then again, Al has not been the most reliable source of information over the years. Perhaps he's hinting at a 2nd leg.

On the other hand, he said that he's had a harder time getting up for this tour. So yeah, it's probably the last one.

  2. I had no idea FBN was so unappreciated. I really dig that song, what does that say aboot me?

Don't take it personally. It's just one of their 'pop' tunes that get overplayed on AOR. Even Ged said it was too pop for them to play, so don't expect it. Too high for him to sing it as well. It's probably the same situation as Closer to the Heart, where they've said they're sick of it since it's been beat into the ground. :beathorse:

The time would be used better for deeper cuts.

  3. i just want to be able to sit in the first 15 rows for the Chicago show without having to pay over $250. If I can snag a couple in the next couple days I'd be ecstatic

That might be tough.I snagged 17th row last Friday and it still was almost $400 with fees included for two.

well they're around $300 right now on StubHub for rows 20-25. there are 2 up there on Geddy's side, row 22 for around $290. Hopefully once the public sale goes Friday it'll flood the market and i can snag some

I got mine on the Citi pre-sale yesterday. Currently, through TM the following are available as resale tickets:

    Sec 1 Row 21 $316ea for 2

    Sec 1 Row 25 $284ea for 2

    Sec 3 Row 18 $285ea for 2

So those aren't too outrageous. The non-resale tickets are currently gone in the front 3 floor sections except for one ticket. Of course, more may open up later.

I got row 21, seat 12 and damn proud of it. :haz: :haz: :haz:

  4. Another idea is to try to get floor seats in the first row of a section, so there's the aisle between your seats and the next section. Other ideas are to get aisle seats, so she can stand a little in the aisle without someone in front of her.

  5. WOOOOOOO!!!!! Front floor section Row 21 seat 12!!!! How Epic is that!

For Chicago, the seats were really random. It took a dozen searches before I hit that. It only consistently searched for one seat. More than one it didn't find any. Funny that I hit that and went back for more and Seat 11 next to me came up. Why it didn't let me buy both when I searched for two is bizarre.

You should get a free Meet & Greet just for scoring that Magical Ticket!! :haz: :haz:

I'm just happy with the seat I got. Absolutely a freak of nature out of thousands of seats that I plucked that one. Funny thing is I had a good seat on Ticketmaster but brainfarted and hit the back button to correct the shipping option and lost the seat. Now I'll never win the lotto. :rage:

    ATWAS

I was in high school in the late 70s. Typical Rush-type kid...sort of in the nerdy group, sort of in the cool group, sort of in the square peg-round hole group. I was a classically trained musician but was just learning guitar and branching out to 'cooler' stuff...Kansas, ELP, etc. Were I lived, we really only got radio with typical FM AOR at best...Fleetwood Mac, Eagles, Boston, etc. I remember seeing ATWAS at the record store. Never heard Rush before. But I remember thinking "with that stage set-up and drum kit, I might not be crazy about this album, but it definately looks like it will kick ass". As soon as the opening riff of Bastelle came on, I was hooked. Not only with the energy and the kick-ass metal riffs, but the musical complexity (who the hell changes keys 4 or 5 times during the guitar solo?). LIke many other of us 'castouts', I was sold for life.

Just a side note, perhaps you notice my id as '2112FirstStreet'. That is the address of the house I lived in as a kid from birth to 18. My sister still lives there since my parents passed away. Do not call BS on this or I'll dig up the latest tax bill and prove it. ;)

  7. All pretty good except Mystic Rythyms. It didn't age well and sounds like a Miami Vice soundtrack.

Although I dislike the Synth period, at least PW had some bite to their songs, unlike Hold Your Nose.
