Thanks a lot! I could see those! :)

Now if only I could see the full show....

Please if someone could help me? :(

Damn I hate living in Europe.... We don´t get anything good here.... :boohoo:

You didn't miss much of That Metal Show. The actual interview with Geddy was about 10 minutes. The other 20 minutes was listening to the j*rk-off interviewers and stupid audience questions. Eddie and his ass clowns remind me of the worst guys you could imagine sitting next to you at a Rush concert. Just shut the F up...it's not all about youuuu!

The icon show was good...set a camera up on Geddy, ask him questions, listen and shut up. Rinse and repeat.

The review of Geddy's bass room was cool, but I was surprised that it seemed small. Maybe that just the impression since he's got it filled with stuff.

  2. Witch Hunt is the only song that does anything for me. The others are meh. I just relistened to Freeze...can't imagine having to sing that live since it's hard to pick out any melody in the music. The four part 'fear' series doesn't really resonate unless your a real die hard fan.

Plus a couple of these are 6 minutes plus, so they would drag the set list down.

who are these insufferable douchebags interviewing him?

Petrucci playing 'metal' guitar....typical weee, weee,weeee...did I just walk into Guitar Center?

Last 20 minutes are the interviewers yapping incessantly...why did they bother bringing Geddy there? :rage:

    Turrrible, turrrible interview.

    you're welcome.

    You seriously don't know??

No I don't, nor do I care after watching that. The 'hosts' were self-absorbed douchebags only interested in spewing out their own ill-informed opinions. The last 20 minutes, Geddy sat smiling politely and wondering why he was here. These ass clowns couldn't get 'clockwork orange' correct and had trouble naming all studio albums.

Here's a tip for interviewers...ask the question, shut up and listen, rinse and repeat.

  4. Attention all Rush Ambassadors. No more slacking. These are not ceremonial titles only. You have responsibilities. This is a call to employ the full stock of your diplomatic and impassioned rhetoric and sum up the qualities of the recorded music that you represent.

Red vinyl Hemispheres has all of the glory and majesty of the regular "black vinyl" Hemispheres, with the added bonus that when it spins on a turntable, it is hypnotizing. All that beautiful, beautiful red . . . just spinning, spinning, spinning. I have memory and awareness, but I have no shape or form . . .

    . . . where am I?

I think a few of the ambassadors need to be replaced. They're slackers. You know - fair weather ambassadors.

I'm just holding back so I don't offend anyone. :eyeroll:

  5. Well since I volunteered for T4E and wasn't worthy for some reason, I'll take Counterparts

Touchy, touchy...good god. I apologize, I didn't read all 268 replies to figure out everybody who had volunteered for everything. I went with the latest list that was given, and updated it with what I saw since yesterday. Mea culpa, Captain Sarcastic.

oh my bad, I forgot scrolling and comprehending isn't part of your skill set.

    Captain Sarcastic strikes again. :eyeroll:

My original beef with your previous comment was more because you didn't seem to approach it with any concession for human error or anything like that. Whereas you could have said, "Hey, I put myself down for Test For Echo, what happened?", or something along those lines, you surmised aloud that you weren't worthy. (That's no way to approach an ambassadorship!). I apologized before for not catching your original post, and I do so again. But now you're insulting me.

Sheesh. Counterparts people...what're ya gonna do.

As the co-ambassador for Hold Your Fire...guess what I'm going to do?

Put on Force Ten and rock out, that's what! :haz:

I would expect nothing more from someone that defends that wretched mall music known as Hold Your Nose.

I'll send you all of my posts so you can personally filter them for political correctness.

    Sincerely

    Captain Sarcastic

  6. Trying to learn the cool guitar part right before "wheels within wheels...."

    Great song.

  7. The opening part with the water sounds is kind of disconcerting when you listen with headphones on. It feels like I'm getting water in my ears.

    But maybe that's just me.
