A friend of mine retired rush right after diffrent stages, hes heard some stuff i played for him off various newer records and wasnt all that impressed..

Nicky back around 1998 , 1999 alot of bootlegs didnt have names. depending on where it was filmed. some people or friends of theirs will go to concerts, film the show then make lots of copies and take them to record conventions and sell them. There are so many of these that are never seen or heard of again, this was probaly one of them. It was filmed in 96 cause big money was the second song..

i liked genesis until after 1983, then they got goofy and too poppy, but i still listen to their live and studio stuff and that was forever ago..

alot of people actually filmed the opening night in albany NY, so there are a few diffrent versions of that show floating around..

i looked for it. couldnt find it on you tube. there were so many Bootleg videos from 96. but only a small few made it on you tube..

Once, i got a TFE show from 1996 at a record show on video, and let me tell ya, this video was really well shot and excellent shots of all 3 memebers and the right times. pro shots couldnt even look this good. only to be marred by this one idiot talking in front of taper, I mean this guy was talking to this other guy who was just keeping quiet and trying to watchtheshow. The dude ruined the audio portion by constalty talking like he was on some major coke or speed. It was a shame. he was so loud, he was even at one point talking about his day at work. Finally durning the drum solo the taper yelled at this guy to shut up !!! and he never did. then he got worse..

Ok, lets say, neil gave up after his bad times and the band just never carried on, no vapor trails. no r30, ect. I wonder if their fan base would just die out..

The pass was cool to hear again on the VT tour, but i felt that going right into bravado felt it slowed down the concert a bit, 2 slow songs in a row. Wished they would have re placed bravado or dropped it and went right into the big money... just me. but that would have made it better and natural science was played too slow too.. Natural science was a real treat on the test for echo tour, but i felt they could have brought back 2 older songs in place of science too,

CA for me, really wished they wouldnt have played so many snakes songs in a row on the 2007/08 tour..

I hope soon, real soon, we get at least one clip of this footage..

I don't always need a whole concert anymore, iam just happy to be getting pro shot footage of this great tour.............

people will suck up anything thats thrown at them, radio plays what they want you to hear...

as for rob thomas and matchbox 20, how did they get a record deal?? that song 3am is terrible. has no feeling at all. so whipped up..

so thereforth it will just be a box in the middle of your screen...

you are correct. but its not 16x9 enhanced for widescreen tvs...

intrestiling, rio was never shot in 16x9 widescreen, so it will always look bad no matter what. Even if they stretch the picture out to make it look widescreen, it wont look right at all.. plus there alot of out of focus shots on the original..

time will tell, hope they didnt just slap the dvd on bluray format..

Musics all timing, if dave Matthews came out in 1982, would he have made it as big as he did in 1994???? I don't think there was a market for that kinda music back then, the dj would probably have thrown his record in the trash.

True story about Mr jones, it came out in jan of 1994 and was an overnight sensation right away, everyone loved it and it became the most overplayed song, at the time I was just getting into rush and was really digging time stand still. But everyone was so into this mr jones song, I couldn't stand it. I hate that song and runaround by blows travler.. But it was amazing how big mr jones got, does anyone else here recall how huge that sucky song was overplayed??
