Do you really think Rush In Rio would sound any better with high-res audio, given the circumstances under which it was recorded and filmed? It doesn’t sound great on the current CD and DVD releases; that’s not because it’s not HD, it’s because it was recorded and filmed with mediocre equipment under difficult circumstances. I’d be amazed if an HD audio version sounded any better than the current CD and DVD.

Rush In Rio was shot on low quality cameras, which is why the original DVD was in non-anamorphic format; they didn’t have the quality to support anamorphic SD, so HD is going to look dreadful – no point releasing that on Bluray anyway. So the only thing that it’s

yes, depending on which you want, dvd or blu ray, both with come with bonus dvd

so yes each one dvd/bluray will include a bonus disc.

ok heres the deal people. bonus dvds will be presented with either or. which means. that if you get the dvd boxset, the bnous disc with contain all 8 missings songs from r30 that wernt on the dvd, plus the 3 bonus 97 show songs. If you get the blu ray version, the bonus disc will contail all present on the r30 dvd bonus disc plus the 3 molson 97 bonus songs if that helps..

Just cancelled my amazon order. so i will go with best buy..

so iam confused, none of these will be on the regualr blu-ray. maybe i better cancel my order at amazon and just get this from best buy.

cant wait to find out what the story on rush in rio on blu ray for the first time. Is it gonna just be the dvd slapped onto a blank blu ray and call it blu ray. or did they fix or change anyhting about it. Remmeber it was never shot in 16x9, so it wont fill the screen on widescreen tvs

Pale, yes this is exactly true, they do this for a lot of bands by waiting to film them when they are tired and worn out and just wanna go home. Why they wait till the end or last show of the tour is beyond me./ And your right. I seen a lot of videos on you tube where he sings the anarchist a lot better than he does on the dvd. Plus that's a lot of singing night after night till you get to a few months into the tour before they decide to start filming..
