  1. So much better near the front this time around, far better atmosphere and sound. I grudgingly agree with the OP 2112 did sound a bit tired. would rather have had some other classics thrown in, Xanadu, cygnus, the trees, circumstances, entree nous, farewell to kings, hemispheres, la villa, Jeez, I could go on and on! there's so much great music from these guys. I'll listen to CA with a new perspective from now on, can't stop singing carnies for some reason!
  2. I was 7 rows back from stage last night in Sheffield on Geddys side and the sound was pretty good. Just goes to show it's where you are in the venue. Really enjoyed it, even the eighties stuff apart from red sector A, don't like that one at all. The strings in CA were superb and added to the texture, carnies was excellent.
  3. I've was at sheffield two years ago and the sound was pretty awful to be honest, very boomy and no clarity . I hope it's better on tuesday, I've got a dearer ticket on the floor so here's hoping!
  4. I was there at Sheffield. Really enjoyed it although the sound was pretty poor. What do you mean?
  5. Take it your happy listening to that eighties stuff then? I'm not but everyone to their own thing. The thing that upsets me most is I'm a huge rush fan apart from that era. Why can't they play a bit of everything to please us all, a song from every album. The new album is OK but noti a patch on snakes n arrows, so why do we have to hear it all? I'm sure there's more people like me out there!
  6. Really disappointed with the setlist so I'm not going to bother going this time around. The era from grace under pressure to roll the bones was the worst time to be a rush fan IMO. Some really weak songs in there for me. What a shame
