  1. Well done and I can't argue in general with the top 7. All of the great ones are there. The rest is just a crap shoot and a matter of ones age and taste I suppose. FBN being so low is surprising in some ways. The fact the :rush: isn't at the bottom and is ahead of it surprises me more given what I have read around here for almost 2 years now My first Rush experience was Moving Pictures, which probably explains why none of the first 4 albums are in my top five. I was fourteen. Hemispheres actually should tie for my fifth spot.

  3. No and don't care about impressing you either, just our own personal opinions. but I have the best taste, why wouldn't you want to impress me? We haven't gotten past the smell test yet. :eyeroll:

  7. It's not one of the worst albums ever made in the world. It is by far the worst RUSH record ever made. "Test For Echo" blows it away. JMO Test For Echo is frustrating though because to me the songs are half or part good. The result is a bland and uninspired Rush effort. Definitely my least favorite Rush album. I totally agree. So let's take "Time And Motion" for instance. I fuckking love that driving guitar riff but then that pathetic keyboard part comes in. KILLS IT. HALF THE TEST OF ECHO IS GOOD HALF THE TEST FOR ECHO IS BAD! Half The World drives me fuckking bonkers. Talk about redundant. That song is worse than anything AC/DC has done with Brian Johnson. OUCH! Back In Black is equal to anything AC/DC has done before or after. At the time of "BIB's" release it was epic. However for my ears today I can barely get through it. It's like listening to "Tom Sawyer" ten times in a row. Anything with Bon on it blows away "BIB!" I would rather watch a toddler throw up into BIB than listen to "Black In Back." Not a typo

  12. Awesome post, make's my spine tingle.
  13. How about Blush. Danny Carey on drums With DC on drums, I might prefer that to regular Rush! Haha! Turn in your Rush card now. DC's got chops, but he's no Peart. Style wise I don't think he would fit the band. Moot point anyway. Alex and Ged would never replace Neil. Oh yeah, he's no Peart, he's in a different league entirely (sorry Neil). Of course, Neil is the only drummer for Rush, he could never be replaced! This is the one of the best responses I've seen to "comparisons" of musicians. http://www.drummerwo...02&postcount=49
  14. I know Gary didn't write the song but I love his version. Come tomorrow, will I be older? Come tomorrow, maybe a soldier? Come tomorrow, will I be bolder than today?
  15. I prefer Steve Morse opening for Power Windows Holy Shit! Were you at the Cow Palace for that one like me? I missed most of it thanks to my buddy having a fukking pony keg in the back of his CRX. I also loved Gary Moore for GUP! Cow Palace too! I would have killed to see Gary, but alas that can't happen now.
