  2. I sent a photo into a venue, I forget which. I included a return envelope stamped and ready to be sent back to me, all they had to do was put the photo in the envelope and put it in the mail box. my photo came back 3-4 days after the show and it was signed by all three of them! I cried SO MUCH! :') Definitely one of the happiest moments of my life!

  3. The heck is going on here?

haha iBytor is my really good friend!!! She lives more than halfway across the country, but we always send each other stuff and I have sent her some of my art! :P

and I just don't think I'm as good at guitar than I am at drawing :)

    :rush: :rush:

Well that's all fair enough. But if you two ever form a band, I want some signed SWAG, savvy???

ahaha all we need are a drummer and a singer :P

Drummers are a dime a dozen. Singers are a little harder to find, but not impossible.

unfortunately, Angie lives halfway across the country!

    A minor inconvenience.

we will most likely be meeting each other in summer 2014 :'D

AW YISS!!!! 2014 will be amazing!!!!! we will create our own band within a week there hahaha!

    yessssss! With Elijah as the drummer.......... :o :o :o :o :o :o

  8. I've had a pretty interesting day in regards to getting tickets!

I woke up at 5:30 am (half an hour before I normally get up) With a sudden instinct to check the rush.com website for new dates. Little did I know they actually posted them! It's like my body instinctively knew they were announced! I was trying to not scream with excitement because the rest of my family were still sleeping. Unfortunately, I had to go to school today! I was so upset I couldn't stay home to get tickets. So I'm on my way to school and I have to e-mail my dad at work (because he is still COMPLETELY unaware that the dates were announced, let alone the tickets going on pre-sale today!) about everything. I had already asked my dad a few times if I can see them again and he said no. (I saw them in New Hampshire (4th row center stage!) AND in Connecticut (10th row Ged's side!)) In the e-mail I included how this might be the last time we will ever see them, which I think did the trick. He emailed me back saying he would check it out at noon! The time came and I was sitting in biology class about to EXPLODE with excitement! luckily at 12:08, biology ended and I could go to lunch. he e-mailed me again saying he purchased two tickets in section 25 at Mohegan Sun! (You can google the map of the Mohegan Sun arena if you want to see exactly where it is) I almost cried because I wasn't expecting AT ALL to be that close!!! I am content with my seats and I cannot WAIT for May 9th!!

The second my dad gets home from work, I am going to give him a GIGANTIC hug and thank him many many times!!! I love him SO much! (Did I mention he is also a big Rush fan? He's seen them at least once every tour since power windows! I wish I could have done that! :o)

And although I am grateful to have tickets, there's still a sliver of me that wishes I had front row seats ;P (Will I ever get to see my heroes that close? Who knows!)

  9. Okay, I got it to work... I'm retarded... I was clicking the wrong thing.

So, THAT was VERY cool! If that's your picture on your name thing you look very young, so I am even more impressed with your playing!

Keep at it - MusicalAbby rules all young chick guitar players!! You'll go on to start your own prog rock band some day and I will be the first in line to buy tickets... (I better get a goddam back stage pass too, otherwise it's over between us!)

hahaha thank you! I'm 15 and have been playing rock guitar for a few years now :) and I DO have a band, except I am the dummer, and we are not progressive rock :P I wish we were though!

WHAT? You're only 15, you play Rush songs on guitar and you're a drummer? Maybe you'll end up being like Dave Grohl... that dude plays guitar and drums equally well.

Okay, you listen me young lady - as I've said before on this forum, I am old and bald, so automatically I am smarter (or at least "wiser?"... "more experienced?") than you are. So, take my advice - STAY with the music. If you were 23 or something, I wouldn't be quite as impressed, but you're ONLY 15. Holy smokes, kid...

And don't end up in an "all girl" band either. As sad and as unfair as this is, "all girl" bands are rarely taken seriously and are often considered gimmicky and not serious musicians.

I play drums too, only at age 50, i don't play much any more. I used to be pretty good when I was 20... here is a short solo and a look at my unusual drums.

    Check it out...

I would love to see you playing your drums... I could be your long-distance, free drum teacher... but I wouldn't be surprised if you could kick my ass on the kit.

I'm really not that good on the drums, my main instruments are guitar and viola!
